Did know that our own Mike Furlong - "Mic The Prophet" - recently released his debut full length album with some amazing singles, assembled a phenomenal band - "The Bear Necessities" - and is going to celebrate the formal release of the record this Saturday? As we always say at Collective, part of the way we ensure creativity, quality and innovation as a community is to relentlessly support those who support us. As a house band leader and musician for years, Mike is one of ours that deserves no less than our presence and support as he launches this exciting project! And, if that's not enough to get you out and dancing, this will be one of the last times to see Mike play live locally, as he prepares to move his base to North Carolina (more on this next week).
Check out this debut video single release of Perennials, also starring Collective's own Amber Cox, Brandon Loos and Nathan Doane... errrr ... the bear.
Get details, RSVP to the FB event, share it and invite others below: This photo captures it perfectly. "Mic The Prophet" on one side, "We Are Collective" on the other. And Mike Furlong right there in the middle.
Stop what you're doing. Put this in your calendar. Support Mike and his budding musical career. On Saturday night, go to this place at 8PM with $5 American Dollars!

Sundays at 5pm. Come as you are. All are welcome.
We value highly the metaphor of journey. We’re different people from different places and backgrounds, representing an intergenerational community, and we’ve traveled different paths. So, we agree not to make assumptions about the person across from us, next to us, or in conversation with us. We challenge ourselves to be sensitive, knowing this community includes a diverse group of people from life-long followers of Jesus, to people who are just now open to the idea that God might exist. We strive to avoid offense, ask good questions, articulate and explain our responses. We don’t assume fluency in bible, spirituality, or Church language, because we believe the message of Jesus is not for Christianity, but for humanity. So, we do everything in the spirit of love and grace.
