Last night, Adrienne did a great job bringing us up to speed on the Pledge Drive, celebrating how far we've come, and challenging us to get those pledges and scheduled gifts in to help make the budget a reality. She gives a report and challenges us to think about what it means to be generous and philanthropic, not only as a congregation for the congregation, but as people who are formed by our practices of generosity. Check it out in the video above! The donations have slowed a bit, but we’re still moving forward with 2 weeks to go. We’ve pledged 64% of the budget, and already surpassed last years number of pledges and scheduled gifts. And we know there are more pledges and scheduled gifts to come. With two weeks to go, we’re 64% of the way there. This means we’ve got 34% per month still needed or $3371. So, If this is your community and you haven’t yet, please consider the impact this financial support has on who we are and our future together. If you’ve never made a scheduled donation, please do. If you’re already a donor and can help us meet the growing budget, thank you! |

Come as you are. Sundays at 5pm
We value highly the metaphor of journey. We’re different people from different places and backgrounds, representing an intergenerational community, and we’ve traveled different paths. So, we agree not to make assumptions about the person across from us, next to us, or in conversation with us. We challenge ourselves to be sensitive, knowing this community includes a diverse group of people from life-long followers of Jesus, to people who are just now open to the idea that God might exist. We strive to avoid offense, ask good questions, articulate and explain our responses. We don’t assume fluency in bible, spirituality, or Church language, because we believe the message of Jesus is not for Christianity, but for humanity. So, we do everything in the spirit of love and grace.
